Beverly (Bev) Coleman
Beverly (Bev) Coleman is Executive Director for NeighborhoodsNow,
formerly Philadelphia Neighborhood Development Collaborative (PNDC). Previously, Bev served as Program Officer for
The Pew Charitable Trusts where she managed the Fund for Urban
Neighborhood Development and also led the foundation's Targeted
Neighborhood Initiative. A Philadelphia resident, Bev holds a B.A. in
Urban Studies and a M.A. in Government Administration from the University
of Pennsylvania, and is a board member of the OMG Center for Collaborative Learning. Bev serves
on several boards and committees including the Center for Architecture, Art Reach, OMG Center for Collaborative Learning, and the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of
the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh.
Diane-Louise (D-L) Wormley
Diane-Louise (D-L) Wormley is Deputy Director for NeighborhoodsNow.
In this role, she develops and manages the organization's initiatives
designed to preserve the health of neighborhoods
throughout Philadelphia. D-L brings significant and diverse expertise to
NeighborhoodsNow, with over 10 years of experience supporting neighborhood
initiatives in Philadelphia. Most recently, she served as Senior Project
Manager for the Cartographic Modeling lab at the University of
Pennsylvania, where she oversaw research, staff and initiatives. She also
developed and managed incentive programs for Community Housing at Penn,
where she managed the rehab of vacant properties as part of the
University's "West Philadelphia Initiative." D-L was recently named one
of Philadelphia's Top 100 Connectors by Leadership Philadelphia.
LaTanya Robinson
LaTanya Robinson is Program Assistant for NeighborhoodsNow. In this role, LaTanya is
responsible for keeping the trains running on time and for managing the overall administrative
aspects of the organization. Previously, LaTanya was the Assistant to the Director of Finance
at the Pew Charitable Trusts and also owned and operated her very own independent administrative
support company.
Katelyn (Kate) Allen-Yoakum
Katelyn (Kate) Allen-Yoakum is the Director of the Neighborhood Funding Stream.
In this role, she manages a place-based, community-guided grant-making program that
supports sustainable community and economic development efforts in three culturally and
ethnically diverse Philadelphia Empowerment Zone neighborhoods. Kate received her B.A
degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and spent a year abroad studying
Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Kate also
spent time in Northern Ireland working for a faith-based community organization committed
to restoring peace and prosperity in East Belfast. Prior to joining the team at
NeighborhoodsNow, Kate managed the Neighborhood Funding Stream at United Way of
Southeastern Pennsylvania.
